Defiance city schools are garbage. Worst place you could ever send your child.

They embarrass them any chance they get, send them home constantly for ANY possible reason they can come up with. The P.T.O constantly send kids home with flyers and things to spend money on. If you are into your child being pimped out so that the parent techer organization can have nice dinners and drinks from the work of your child, then I highly recomend the school. But if you're not into that k.

Ind of thing, then may I suggest tinora or ayersville. Whatever you do, do not, and i repeat DO NOT send your child to this school.

The last straw for me was they had a sexual relationship issue with a guy that has sort of a big brother big sister group for the children. Absolutely disgusting. Its only a matter of time before they push some child to the edge and the unthinkable happens. I cannot stomach this school anymore its the most disgusting environment to have your child grow up in.

I can only imagine the monsters they will develop over the coming years. Its nothing like when i went to school in defiance. Every single staff member there should be ashamed of themselves for either participating in or not speaking up about the environment that we send our children to willingly every day. Open your eyes parents!

My first year dealing with this school and im beyond disappointed. My daughter attends the kindergarten and today is my daughters 6th bday therfore I brought her lunch. I bought it from McDonalds and before I even got through the school doors I was getting screamed at, instead of helping me open the door with my hands full with my baby and food the secretary sat on the phone with someone else intruppting them just to yell at me!? Stating that I cant bring MY daughter fast. Food because the other children will get jealous yet I watched a couple chow down on subway fast food and the PRINCIPAL herself took photos for the year book.

The same parents who ended up in a fistfight almost punching my 5 and 4 year old. This school is a JOKE just as I was warned.

I wish I would have listenedthe principal did let her eat the meal but she was excluded from the other kids and sat in a empty room by herself as if she was in trouble. Identity v. Let's just say she cried. And they could have cared less. And this are the ppl we are trusting with our kids.
