Have played this game and am liking it but agree with other posts about not knowing where best to invest if i'm going to buy content.Can someone more experienced in online racing sims than me give me detail about the competitors - especially Simraceway, iRacing and RFactor2. Dont want to download and try them all!For me graphics are important, as is excellent physics and decent content. Personally, i dont mind spending a few quid on content if it's worth it. I have a v good system and use a GT drivingforce wheel.Aleady have older games eg Race07 which i like, but are strating to look outdatedThanks!

I think Simbin really needs to pull a rabbit out of a hat to get racesimmers on their side. 4 major projects going on at the same time and i cant say exactly why but somehow i have the feeling R3E is in last position at this very moment. AC will have the Iracing and Rfactor people, rFactor 2 will have the rFactor 1, Iracing an AC people. Pcars will have a huge amount people racing GT5 / Forza / Shift. So were is R3E positioned?

I guess the problem is the difference between buying a game with a significant outlay with all the things you need but additional content is purely optional or cosmetic, and the type where you really need to spend a lot frequently just to stay in the game. For me the worst are those where your investments mean nothing if you leave the game for a few months. If you're gonna do paid-for content you need to always own it afterwards IMO.

I understand your frustation, I too have gone 2 or 3 weeks searching and trying everything to fix a game. I recently posted a thread; 'Not buying any more Steam games'. As soon as I fix one another goes down. Its hard to believe that the problem is the game developers.

I have games in Origin that I don't play for 6 months or more, come back and they play fine.I was trying to figure out if your desktop shortcut was corrupt, that's why I asked you to go to the executable file and see if it would start from there, if so then create another short cut. I didn't expect you to use the.exe forever.If you are using a shortcut my next question is why? Why not start it in the Steam game library? Also if you have a Logitech wheel you can launch the game from the Profiler. So clue me in, what method are you using to launch the game?

The same happens when starting in steam lib, so yesterday after a re-install of rre i was able to play again. Only the mp kicked me, hm. However could play challenges. Slept happy last night. Today, start pc.

Every pictogram from any game bought via steam, was blank, white and also every gamefile is missing from my harddrive. Strange that every other game installed on my pc like e.g. Frisbee forever 2 launch trailer.

Games from origin, has not dissapeard, all is there ready to be played! So anyone any idea what's happening here or experiencing the same?
