  Problem solved! I was able to download Lucky Palms! I saw it just now in my download folder. Didn't see it before because it was hidden somewhere in the middle of the list. :oops: :oops:

  Okay Help I tryed to download things for the sims 3 store including Lucky Palms I tryed downloading it and NONE of it is in my game i have tryed every thing HELP!!

  when you say none of it is in your game, do you mean the other things you downloaded or the items that came with Lucky Palms or is the casino not showing up?
  Have you restarted the game since downloading and installing through download dashboard? It should show up in game immediately with download dashboard but I have had many things not show up when installed through it until I restarted the game.

  I'm also having problems downloading Lucky Palms. I tried through the launcher and ingame with no success. It will start to download then around 15%-25% an error message will pop up 'There was an error while downloading content. Please see the Log for more details.' Can anybody help me?   I am able to download Lucky Palms, then click on the box to install it. Then when I load the game to play, Lucky Palms in not there. When going back into the launcher, Lucky Palms is listed in the download but not in the install folder. I then tried to install it again and the same problem happens. I am so frustrated, I paid for this world and now I can't play it. :x

  I am having a similar issue. I was able to download the game to the Sims, but once I opened the world in game, the lucky palms casino was nowhere to be found. I downloaded the gold package and tried everything I could to find it, but I haven't had any luck. Anyone have this problem and maybe a solution to it?

  Feeling ripped off, downloaded the gold package of Lucky Palms got the world but no casino.Did not get what I paid for!!!!!!

  I bought the gold package last night and it shows up no where in the game. I go to the download dashboard and install it and still nothing! Very frustrated! I'm always afraid to download the games and add-ons (usually wait for CD) and thsi was my first time. Not to mention that I had to buy $40 worth of Simpoints for it not to work. HELP ANY SUGGESTIONS!!!????

  My casino is missing too. I downloaded the gold version, but can't find my casino. I'm assuming maybe it is listed separately in the launcher and that I just can't find it or something. I better find it!!

  I recently purchase sims lucky palms and everytime I try downloading it, I keep getting 'There was an error while downloading content. Please see the Log for more details.', I even opened up the sims launcher and went to purchase history then went to download and went to the download dashbroad and it says 'download quede' and then I get 'There was an error while downloading content. Please see the Log for more details' once again. Please help.

  The casino is shown in the 'uploaded content' section on my launcher, & it's shown as being installed, but it's SO not. And to the person who said that we simply needed to add the casino to the world, there's NOTHING to add, because it does not appear in the community lots section or community objects. I checked everywhere; no casino.

  Cali3234 you are such a 'genius'! Unless you really know what you're talking about instead of making a fool out of yourself don't post! I gifted my sister the gold edition of Lucky Palms. She downloaded it but, The casino that was supposed to be included was not there. It was not in the world or in the community bin. It looks like a lot of other people did not get what they paid for. I would like a resolution to this problem as soon as possible. I don't have 3700 sim points to just throw away!

  1. I found that my Origin Launcher was messed up, so I uninstalled Origin.
  2. I installed Lucky palms using the Launcher after I clicked on it in my purchase history.
  3. I played the game NOT by using the Launcher, but by directly clicking 'TS3W.exe' in my Program Files folder.

  The launcher shows it is installed but can't find file anywhere but when I open the game it is not there. I have uninstalled it and every time I try to reinstall the launcher shows that the download type is in object and not a world. So it does not show up in my game. I am frustrated. I had it working yesterday but this morning I uninstalled some custom content and downloaded a few other things. If anyone knows how to fix this.I hate spending money just to find out it won't work or has a lot of bugs.

  Hello,
  I was gifted the Gold Edition and am having troubles with the Lucky Palms Casino too. Here is a screenshot:
  As you can see, I have it downloaded, I have it in my download folder, I have installed it off the launcher, in game and by double clicking the icon in the DL folder - I get a message saying it is already installed.
  I'm experienced with DLing store content so the advice offered earlier, I have already tried. Also, I DO NOT use any CC, only EA items and I use Firefox, which is up to date, as my browser.
  I just wanted to show the Guru's what 'I' have done. One other thing I thought of was that I have not updated my game patch to DS pack.
  Did others having this problem patch?

  I bought the gold edition of lucky palms when it was on sale and every thing was okay, until recently I noticed a family I made in Lucky Palms was missing so I went to start a new game but it was missing between Bridgeport and lunar lakes. After a couple of days trying to reinstall it it finnaly worked, BUT, it was repeated like : Bridegport, lucky palms, lucky palms. lucky palms, lunar lakes. So I play in one of the lucky palms and went to add the casino but it was missing the items that came with it are thee but th casino is not. So I uninstall LP, reinstall it and see the casino is now in my installed page on the launcher, I get all happy and so, I open up the game and see that LP is still put down 3 times in the main menu but the good part is that the casino is back. Still upset about lucky palms taking up so much space on the main menu. If I get any other towns will this glitch go away to make room for the new towns or will it stay like that if anyone knows on how to help or anything please reply back, thanks :!:
