Blocksworld is a physics-based 3D sandboxvideo game developed by Linden Lab for the iPad, the iPhone in July 26, 2013. In September 25, 2017, Blocksworld was released on Steam.

In Blocksworld, players can build from 3D building blocks that can be combined to construct simple or complex creations. Players can also use 'action blocks' and a drag-and-drop visual programming tool to add interactivity and gaming to their creations. Examples include drivable cars, flyable jets, and playable games with win/lose conditions, health systems, and other attributes.^[2]

Players can play and share their creations with other Blocksworld players around the world. Virtual coins serve as the in-game currency, which can be either purchased via the in-app shop or rewarded through various community actions such as having creations rated via stars. These coins can be used to buy a variety of themed building sets including original offerings, like Heroes of Aero, City Blocks, and Star Rangers, and 'models', structures or other creations built by other players.

Blocks are sorted into categories known as blocks, models, 'props', textures, colors, 'Blocksters', and action blocks. O2jam song. Certain blocks have a bronze, silver, or gold border around them that symbolizes their perceived rarity. Blocksters are blocks used to represent characters created by players. Action blocks, such as wheels and hinges, perform specific functions to make creations more dynamic or interactive. Other blocks, like props, serve to fit decorative needs.

Actions and sounds are behaviors players can use to add function to blocks. They are placed in a panel with infinite space to store all actions needed, although colors, textures, and any sound effect can be placed in the panel as well.

Players have the option to purchase “Blocksworld Premium” which grants an infinite supply of various blocks and items, among other things. It features varying prices and ranks; the higher the rank you purchase, the more items you receive.

While it was originally introduced as a one time payment, it has since changed to a subscription system.Occasionally an error message will be played, this can last anywhere from one week to half a year, if you have played blocksworld you may have experienced this however, it is not specific to one player, it is a universal message, of which the players have dubbed error 505, this message is the Blocksworld developers testing Updates

Blocksworld was initially developed by Swedish independent video game developer Boldai, which was acquired by U.S.-based Linden Lab in early 2013.^[3][4] An earlier version of the game was briefly available in 2012 in Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Denmark and Norway.^[5] However, for the subsequent global release, the game was repositioned as a freemium offering where players have the option to purchase premium sets and games, additional building objects and pieces, coins, and other upgrades and extras for a small fee.

Blocksworld is an absolutely spectacular game that puts pretty much every single thing in the hands of the player. Sandbox games have always been known to give players an insane amount of control over what goes on but this game seems to take that concept to a whole new level. You’re the master of your own journey in Blocksworld and this is exactly why this game is going to have you hooked. Blocksworld is quite fun to play once you’ve gotten the hang of things but learning the basics can be slightly overwhelming.

The game has an insane array of different options that the players can utilize and learning what each individual option does can be a bit of a daunting task because there are just so many of them. However, once you’re past the learning curve of the game, you’ll be able to enjoy tons upon tons of amazing features that you other sandbox games cannot offer. The gameplay of Blocksworld is absolutely spectacular because there are absolutely no limitations. You can acquire equipment for your character and participate in intense battles against dangerous monsters, you can explore massive game worlds that are filled to the brim with beautiful sights to see, you can try your parkour skills by going through challenging parkour sequences that don’t give any room for mistakes, you can play fun mini-games and a whole lot more. The amount of things that players can do is Blocksworld is so much that it can get a little overwhelming at times and this is definitely a testament to the quality of the game. Perhaps the best thing about Blocksworld is that it allows players to put together their own creations and then share them with the world.

The game’s bright color palette, fluid animations and lego-like character designs are extremely solid and they’re rounded off by some absolutely spectacular sound effects. It’s worth mentioning that the cartoon-ish art style might not be for everyone but, even if you don’t like the game’s visuals, you’ll still probably have a good time playing the game because of all the content that it has to offer. The game is mostly free to play but it has a few micro-transactions through which you’ll be able to get your hands on coins that can be used for a variety of in-game tasks.
